I Want to Be Your Friend
A few days before Great Balls of Yarn closed the doors for the last time I scooped up a bunch of yummy yarns at 50 % off that really need to live somewhere else preferably at your house.
Should you desire to enhance your stash compliments of little old me, than all you need to is:
1. Leave as many comments as you want in the month of June. One comment per post please.
2. Put me in your Ravelry friends for an extra entry in the drawing.
I'll announce the winner at the end of the month.
Of course I realize that there are a lot of you who have already added me to your Ravelry friends. So naturally you have one entry in the drawing without doing anything at all.
And if you have not signed up to Ravelry what are you waiting for? It only takes about a week to get in and it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
Good luck.

P.S. Please forgive me for not responding to all the sweet comments last week. The schedule of events kept me quite busy. The good news is that our pack out went very well. But it left me exhausted. We are now in MIL's condo. Lady Gray continues to grow. RB and I are anxious for school to be over. Thursday is his last day. Friday at 8:30 a.m. we move to Key West.

please enter me in your contest,
your friend Shelia

Hi, I'm glad you joined A Gathering of Lace on Ravelry! I've added you to my friends. Now I can send you birthday wishes on your birthday! Good luck with the move to Key West. It's a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. I'm a redhead and after 18 years in Florida I have the freckles to prove it! Make sure to use your sunscreen every day. I've had skin cancer from all the sun I got over the years.

Hi, yes, be my friend. I love yarn and love having friends. I am on Ravelry but am not sure how to make you my friend. I am vidisi on Ravelry, I think. I am new to it and not sure about any of it. Have uploaded some of my designs, hope you can take time to look at some of them. I crochet, but I love knitting, want to learn how to do it eventually.
Thanks for your generosity, D

I am impressed when people can give away their yarn! Even if I know I probably will never ever use it - it is so hard to give away! Harder than maybe giving away my first born during those pre- and early-teen years would have been!
Posted by: danielle | Friday, June 06, 2008 at 11:24 AM
I think we're friends already! I'll have to check - I haven't signed in in a while.
PS Ellie is reading blogs with me and says she'll be your friend too. She really says, "urghn ahhh" but I know what she meant.
