Bath Mat

One day while I was knitting a 4 Corners Dishcloth I wondered if I could knit a bathmat using the same principles of the dishcloth that I was knitting.

After much trial and error I succeeded and I am positively thrilled with the results.

It came out exactly how I envisioned it. Don't you love it when that happens? I did write a pattern for it should you be interested creating one and there is a link on the side bar too.

By the way it would also would make a nice lap robe if you knit it with wool instead. The mat just about cooked me here in Florida while I was working on it.

Snow and a FO

A few minutes after my last post, I went outside and heard children shouting "It's snowing and it's sticking." I ran inside to share the news with RB and GG. They were so excited! Shortly after that I grabbed my new camera and took some night shots . Unfortunately that was all the snow we got. Not even a 1/4 inch. I'm glad I took pics last night. 

Now for the FO. The OSW with sleeves is done!!!  Rising early this morning at 6:30 a.m. on a holiday was not my plan. But woke up early, I did. What do you do when your up before the sun is up and the other occupants of the home are asleep? I don't know what you would do. But I choose to knit, of course. By 12:30 the second sleeve was done and the seaming finished by 1:53 today. Yea!

After this comedy of errors I think I'll go knit some socks. Much easier to do.... :0)
