Christmas Presents

As I was standing on the beach Christmas evening watching the fireworks I was overwhelmed with a tremendous sense of gratitude.

I was thankful that God choose for me to be born an American and that I had the freedom to celebrate His birth on the shores of the great country with a spectacular fireworks display in His honor.

What a magnificent God He is and it is truly a wonder that He would love a lowly person like me, who is truly insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but He does none the less.

Other than the fireworks, Christmas day was rather peaceful and quite. We spent the day with TBC's family giving and receiving presents.

TBC and his mother were both so kind as to bless me with gift certificates to Great Balls of Yarn.  I was at the shop the very moment they opened up on Wednesday morning to pick out my treasures, because they were having 25 percent sale and I certainly did not want to miss that.

Though I did have enough dollars to buy enough yarn for a luxurious sweater I succumbed to the lure of sock yarn again.

Pretty yarn and that mug is way cool!

Beautiful gifts. And beautiful sentiments.

That mug is cute. I love it. Great new yarns too.

Hi Abigail,

Yes, we are so blessed. We have to remember Jesus's birth and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the minor details of Christmas, even if they SEEM big. Happy New Year.

Susan

God is great all the time! Love all of the yarn that you purchased and received.

God is good!!!

What a great haul you got. :)

Wow, that is a lot of gorgeous sock yarn!

No Christmas presents can compare with Christmas ("Messiah Sent") Presence. How blessed are we. Indeed.
