Rainy Day Knitting
Though I've been deeply entrenched in my super secret project, I found some time this weekend to knit. Lucky for me the weather helped me in my endeavor. It rain and rained and rained some more. There was so much rain that our front porch flooded, but the door remained water-tight and the living room stayed dry. For which we were truly thankful.
Anyway, the pattern is River Rapids which is perhaps my favorite pattern for secret sock swap knitting. So very stretchy that it guarantees that is will fit anyone.
I choose Aruacuna yarn for my pal. The color way reminds me of a garden of roses but the yarn itself is a little on the splitty side. Have you tried it yet?

Love the yarn and the pattern. No I haven't used it before but it's so beautiful I may just have to go out and get some.
Question...I looked at the pattern and it calls for using 2 needles...I see from the picture that you have 4. Do you think that in the pattern that is a misprint?

No, that I haven't used, but the colors are nice. I'll have to remember that about the River Rapids pattern. Hope the rain stops and the sun comes out and the porch dries out!

Sssh! I used Araucania for MY Apres Pal too! I think it may even be the same color. Yes splitty - especially since I chose a rather lacy pattern.

I've used Araucania yarns but only the sportweight so I can't speak to the splitty. Pretty colorway.
