Hip to Be Square

Huey said it so it must be true - thus I must be really hip! I went on a dishcloth bender this week in a noble attempt to get the first part of Christmas knits off my list. Oh, my wrist are throbbing! I forgot what Cotton does to me. Considering this I decided that 1 face cloth per person would still be acceptable. What they don't know won't hurt them. That brings the total down to nine instead of eighteen. Four more to go and I shall be deliriously done with this part of my list. Next time I get a bright idea someone please quickly smack me in the head and bring me back to reality.

P.S. I did find a clever dishcloth pattern and I will share it with you on the next post.

P.S.S. Today my hubby is taking me to Prescott today for a Yarn Crawl. I'm so excited I can't knit!!!!!

Sweet indeed! What a great way to spend the day!

It was a fabulous idea. Your hands will heal (hopefully ;) And they look great! (The dishcloths, and presumably, your hands). I hope your sinus headache is gone! My baby migraine morphed into an IQ draining cold.

Do you know where I can get the round dishcloth pattern you made me? I'd be eternally grateful.

i can't believe you are workign on christmas & have that much done! peopole always say i'm early when i shop in october!

What is a Yarn Crawl? My DH and I spend 3 days in Prescott around Thanksgiving to check it out as a possible place to retire in a few years. We loved it!

Good start!! Maybe you will motivate all of us. It sure would be nice to get it done in the beginning of the year so at Christmas time we can just enjoy our own knitting. :)

Good start on the Christmas knitting! I looked at my cotton stash today, and counted 44!!! balls (and there are more partials buried somewhere)! Clearly, I have a lot of dishcloths/facecloths waiting for me.

Wow!You are one determined woman. So glad your hubby is rewarding you for your efforts.Have fun!

ah! Have fun on your shopping spree girl! Cute dishclothes btw

Good for you, getting the next Christmas knitting done. And the next challenge will be to put them away somewhere and REMEMBER where to find them come December!!

You lucky duck! You definitely have a lot of motivation to get your Christmas knitting done don't you! Have fun at the Yarn Crawl!

Love the dishcloths! It's so great to be getting the Christmas knitting done - I admire you.
